Here's a cool story for you. As part of my coaching program, all of the coaching calls and all of my one-on-one calls and all of my seminars are transcribed and put online in the download area for my students to read, because while having the audio files is awesome to hear, some people are visually oriented, and so having something to read along with the audio, is even more awesome.

Therefore, I have a transcriptionist. I hired her about two years ago. Her name is Carol. Some of my students got to meet her when we were in Portland a year ago for our quarterly meeting.

I've had transcriptionists in the past. The previous transcriptionist I had was pretty good. She got the work done in a timely manner and she was accurate enough for our purposes, but when I first started talking to Carol and realized that not only was she transcribing these calls, but she was actually hearing and understanding and retaining the things I was teaching, I realized I had hired yet another phenomenal employee to add to my other phenomenal employees. (Kim, I'm talking about you here!)

I'll admit that it was a little scary when Carol and I first met in person because I'd begin telling her a story and she'd already know the ending (stories from my childhood even) or I'd begin to explain a concept of persuasion or my teaching, and she'd say, "Yeah, I remember that from the Cancun seminar." Here was this person I had never met, never really talked to, and she knew an outrageous amount about me and my work.

So here's the story: Carol has another job as an independent contractor for a company out of Washington, DC. (This is okay as long as she keeps remembering MaxPersuasion is her number one priority!) J They have an agreement Carol does work for them and every two weeks they pay her for that work. Problem is, they've had some cash flow problems and are now three weeks behind, almost four, with no indication of when that money is going to come through.

Carol is not used to this kind of B.S. because when she requests a paycheck from us, Kim sends one out that very day.

So Carol sent me a copy of an e-mail she sent to the boss at the other company, a woman she had never had direct contact with, and the e-mail just blew me away. I mean, this girl used embedded commands, criteria, rapport -- just about everything I would have done. My favorite line out of the whole thing was (and I've asked her for permission to reprint this): "It's time to pay me now what you owe me so that you can continue to appreciate my hard work and make good on your end of the agreement."

Okay, so it's not as subtle as some of my more advanced students, and she realizes this, but I'm proud of her and excited that this part time job has resulted in some really amazing skills for her that she might not have otherwise had access to.

Have you ever had a prank call or wondered who is behind that phone number that keeps calling your partner? Cell numbers aren't listed in a book so what are the best ways to trace cell phone numbers online?

There are a few free methods that you might like to try which can sometimes give you the information you need but the most accurate and less time consuming methods cost a small fee.

Method One To Trace Cell Phone Numbers: Use a Search Engine

Use all the big search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. Type your search in quotes so that the numbers are searched for together rather than in any order.

If you don't have any success with that try doing a search on classified ad sites and forums where the owner of the number may have used it as their contact number.

Some people put their cell phone number on their profile on social sites such as MySpace or Facebook so you could find it that way.

Method Two: Trace Cell Phone Numbers Using A Reverse Lookup Service.

There is a small fee for using a reverse lookup service but it gives you more information and saves a lot of time. This is probably the best method and some allow you to test whether they have information on the number you have before paying. That saves a lot of wasted time and energy.

These are the two best methods to find the information on the number you are looking for. If you don't want to pay and have lots of time on your hands then use the search engines first and then if you don't find anything you can consider the reverse lookup services available.

There are some free methods to perform a cell phone number lookup, some of them can be sneaky and illegal which I would suggest you stay away from - there are better more effective methods!

The first method many people start out with is using a search engine to see if the can uncover any details about the unknown number. This isn't always successful and can be quite time consuming.

Sometimes people phone number and act like they are looking for someone. When you ask for the random name they might turned round and say no I'm Bob or whatever there name happens to be.

Trying to do detective work on your own can be a waste of time and land you in trouble. A reverse lookup service charges a small fee for fast and accurate information in a legal way.

A free reverse cell phone lookup is something that more than likely you have heard plenty of talk about. The big question though is, does it really exist?

For years now, companies have tried to start some sort of directory which includes cellular phone numbers. The idea behind such a directory is that it could be used as a phone book of sorts for the cell phone community at large. When dealing with these types of services you should find one that offers a free initial search. This will allow you to know right upfront whether or not the number you are investigating is contained in an online database or not.

So, while a free reverse cell phone lookup is not readily available, it is possible to find out who owns a particular number. It is just a matter of whether you want to spend your time or a little bit of money to find out.

Above, I've listed a couple of the most common reason someone might want to do a reverse cell phone lookup. The actual problem starts when you try to find a resource that will allow you to do it.

I'm sure you have seen the advertisements for sites that claim to allow you to trace a cell phone number for free, right? Well, let me tell you a little secret about those sites.
